biography

mark c. slee (aka palivacinni) was born february 5th, 1984, to british parents living in chicago. his first known recordings were produced shortly thereafter, at the early age of three, when his mother captured on tape the sounds of him banging pots and pans in their kitchen. at age five he began to formally study the piano, and at eleven he started teaching himself the guitar.

some years later, he landed in san francisco and learned a thing or two about production. after receiving positive feedback from artists such as jondi & spesh, it came time to make some proper demos and get to sending them out. in early 2005, he passed a copy of "gestures" on to mos, who quickly signed the track to his label, pissed off recordings.

currently just 23 years old, palivacinni looks set to join the ever growing force of up and coming bedroom producers.
